Hi…

I'm Emily Cassidy, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Case Manager (CCM) with over 20 years of experience in mental health. Originally from Chicago, IL, I hold a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Throughout my career, I've specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care—helping individuals navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

For over a decade, I worked as a leader in corporate healthcare, managing teams of more than 300 employees. While this experience gave me deep insight into leadership, organizational dynamics, and human behavior, I found myself drawn back to my true passion: working directly with individuals to improve their lives. In early 2023, I made the decision to return to direct mental healthcare and have been providing therapy full-time since May 2023, working virtually with clients in the US.

In December 2023, I took a leap and moved to Barcelona—on my own, without knowing anyone. This transition reinforced what I had always known: that the strategies and techniques from CBT and mindfulness aren't just tools for managing mental health, but powerful methods for navigating change, overcoming fear, and living with intention.

From this realization, I developed Behavioral Strategy Coaching , integrating evidence-based techniques to help individuals through career transitions, life changes, and personal growth. My goal is to empower people to transform their mindset, unlock their potential, and create a fulfilling, purpose-driven life.
