Coaching and therapy serve different purposes, though both aim to support personal growth. Therapy is a healthcare service that addresses emotional, psychological, and mental health needs, often focusing on healing past trauma, managing mood disorders, and improving emotional well-being. Therapists are licensed healthcare providers who diagnose and treat mental health conditions. Although I too am a licensed mental health professional in the US, I do NOT provide mental health services in behavioral strategy coaching, and am not licensed to do so in Spain.
Coaching, by contrast, is future-focused. It is a collaborative, goal-oriented process that helps individuals maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, they work with clients to develop actionable strategies, build resilience, enhance performance, and achieve specific goals.

Behavioral Strategy Coaching is a more structured and research-based approach compared to traditional life coaching. It integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness practices to help you understand and modify thought patterns and behaviors that may be limiting your progress.
Unlike general life coaching, which can sometimes focus broadly on motivation or inspiration, Behavioral Strategy Coaching uses proven psychological principles to create individualized plans. The focus is not just on setting goals, but also on building the practical skills, habits, and mindset needed to achieve and sustain long-term success. It’s designed for those seeking a deeper, strategy-driven partnership to facilitate intentional growth and lasting change.

Yes, I offer presentations and workshops for groups and organizations when my schedule allows. These sessions can be tailored to your audience and the specific needs or themes relevant to your team.

Behavioral Strategy Coaching may be a great fit if you are motivated to make changes but feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. It is ideal for individuals who are ready to set intentional goals, shift unproductive behaviors, and implement meaningful, lasting change.
It’s important to note that coaching is not a substitute for therapy. If you are currently experiencing severe emotional distress, untreated mental health conditions, or trauma-related issues, working with a licensed mental health professional may be more appropriate before beginning coaching.
During your initial appointment or at any other time during your coaching journey, I may deem that coaching will not adequately meet your needs at this time, and recommend other treatment such as mental health counseling. More details can be found in terms and conditions.

The number of sessions needed varies depending on your goals, your starting point, and how quickly you want to move toward change. Some clients find clarity and momentum after a few sessions, while others choose ongoing support over several months to build new habits and navigate complex transitions.
During your initial consultation, we will discuss your goals and recommend a suggested coaching plan tailored to your needs. However, you are always in control of how long you wish to continue working together.
-
All initial consultations are held virtually to keep things simple and accessible, no matter where you're located. For your first full session—the Strategic Discovery & Planning Session—in-person is recommended when possible, as it allows for a deeper connection and more dynamic collaboration.
After that, sessions can take place either in person or online, depending on availability and what works best for both of us. In-person options will depend on scheduling, location, and the ability to coordinate a mutually agreed-upon meeting space.

Each session is a focused, collaborative conversation tailored to your specific goals. Sessions typically include:
Clarifying your current challenges and desired outcomes
Identifying thought patterns or behaviors that may be holding you back
Developing actionable strategies and practical tools to move forward
Creating accountability to help you stay on track between sessions
Learning evidence-based techniques to enhance resilience, focus, and self-efficacy
Sessions are supportive, structured, and results-driven, providing you with a roadmap to reach your goals while also cultivating greater self-awareness and confidence.
